The Sepia Tone of Tengchong Morning
Despite the early hour on September 19th, the Tengchong morning market was a vibrant scene. I was there, A6700 in hand with the Sigma 56mm F1.4 lens, using the melancholic FL Creative Style. The market was a mosaic of life: an artisan at work (Nail, Artisan, Craft), villagers chatting against a peeling Wall, Rural area, and the central food stalls. The aroma of Grilling, Food, Cooking filled the air, with a chaotic but beautiful pile of Food, Fruit, Produce nearby. Moving deeper, the mix of ancient architecture and modern Electrical cable, Umbrella overhead was notable. I paused by a section selling ingredients—a study in simple domesticity with a bowl of Food, Ingredient, Egg next to dark Wood. It was a perfect, sepia-toned glimpse into the life of Tengchong, Baoshan, Yunnan.
