A Morning Ride Through the Heart of Qingxi with the iPhone 17

Introduction

The crisp air of a sunny winter morning in Qingxi town, carrying the faint scent of damp earth and distant incense, signaled the start of my road bike workout. The familiar click of clipping into my pedals began a journey I relish—the quiet hum of my tires, the vast blue sky, and the iPhone 17 in my jersey pocket, poised to document the day.

My route offered a blend of the old and new. I first passed the imposing, modern lines of the China Telecom Building Qingxi before the road opened up to the serene Shima river in the morning. It was a perfect Ride along the Shima river, its reflective surface mirroring the pastel sky as the miles effortlessly flew by.

I paused where the light was ideal, near the Shima river side, in a profound quiet broken only by birdsong. Further into the village, I dismounted to appreciate the rich history and craftsmanship, first at the Ancestral hall of Yin and then at a beautiful Traditional building in the village. I captured my trusty machine, My bike is resting for a moment, an anachronistic beauty posed against the ornate architecture, and later took a dedicated shot of My Allez in front of ancestral hall.

The journey continued past a towering Temple in the village where my bike is parked. The sight of the vibrant Incense burner and the beautifully crafted main gate provided a vivid connection to Qingxi's cultural soul. Before heading home, I stopped for one last view of the Bridges over Shima river, a fitting final image of the town cradled by its water.

This morning workout was more than just physical exercise; it was a journey through the heart of Qingxi, all beautifully captured through the lens of the new iPhone 17.
