An October Morning in Nanshan: A Lumix GM1 Photo Walk
I visited Nanshan, Shenzhen, on a crisp, sunny October morning, capturing the city with my compact Lumix GM1 and 20mm F1.7 II lens.
My walk focused on urban life, beginning with small, resilient details like a flower pushing through the sidewalk and a man's silhouette. I looked up to the imposing, sun-reflecting skyline of tall, windowed buildings.
Seeking peace, I paused in a green space to photograph a tree's leaves, a row of trees, and a plant on a white pillar.
The city's energy soon returned with a bus driving down the street, a tall building topped with a red flag, and a large tree in the street's center.
My journey ended in a quiet park, offering reflection on a concrete bench with a tree background. I captured a flock of dragonflies over a large green field.
The final image shifted to a simple, personal pleasure: a bowl of beef noodles with a drink and a spoon, perfectly summarizing my morning reconnecting with Nanshan.
