Photographing Ganzhou's Song Dynasty Wall in the Rain with Lumix GM1

On a dreary April day in Ganzhou, China, armed with a Lumix GM1 and 20mm lens, I photographed the historic Song Dynasty City Wall in the rain. The moisture enhanced the ancient stonework's textures and colours. I captured the imposing gates, intricate brickwork, and reflections in a nearby waterway. A fishmonger by the water added a vibrant element. Despite intensifying rain, puddles and mist created dramatic scenes. Soaked but satisfied, my GM1 captured the unique beauty and atmosphere of the wall on a rainy day.
