Rainy Day Reflections: Photography at Shouliang Temple with Lumix GM1

In April 2025, a rainy day at Shouliang Temple in Ganzhou, Jiangxi, provided a tranquil setting for a visit with a Lumix GM1 and 20mm F1.7 lens set to ‘Expressive’. The rain enhanced the temple's colors and textures as I photographed the architecture, incense smoke, and candle flames in the soft light. The compact camera performed well in the low light, capturing details like intricate carvings and moss-covered lanterns. A quiet encounter with a monk added to the peaceful atmosphere. The resulting photos on the GM1 reflected the unique beauty and serenity of the rain-kissed temple.
