Lumix GM1 in Fuzhou: First Evening Impressions

My first evening in Fuzhou, Jiangxi, was a sensory introduction to a city both old and new. With my Lumix GM1 and 20mm lens, I sought food and found a multi-sensory experience. Neon signs and inviting doorways led me to a restaurant filled with soft light, murmuring conversations, and steaming dishes. Small details like menu script and teacups felt significant. Red lanterns, welcoming smiles, and digital screens added splashes of color to the bustling yet intimate atmosphere. The aged walls and bright tablecloths created an interesting contrast. The food was the highlight, each dish a flavorful and textured masterpiece with fresh ingredients beautifully arranged. Steam rose from fragrant broths, and silken noodles glistened. This dinner was an immersive experience, documented by my GM1 as the start of a visual diary of my journey.
