DoubleTree by Hilton Shanwei Poly: A Nighttime Arrival at Jingting Bay

Introduction

After enjoying dinner at Ermalu Food Street, we drove for about 15 minutes to reach the DoubleTree by Hilton Shanwei Poly, where we had made a reservation. Night had completely fallen by this time. The hotel is adjacent to the beach, quietly overlooking Jingting Bay.

We came up from the underground parking lot and chose not to use the elevator, as we were drawn to the highly artistic, curved staircase next to it. Since we didn't have much luggage, we decided to walk up to the lobby on the third floor.

The lobby's design was full of flair. A sculpture of a little girl in a pink dress with open arms stood in the center, above which hung a colossal chandelier composed of numerous lanterns, making it very eye-catching.

In the lobby's rest area, there was another girl's statue from KEME LIFE's "White Night Fairy Tale" series, named "Waiting For The Wind To Come." She wore antlers and a simple, sleeveless long dress, her eyes gently closed with a serene expression, as if quietly waiting for the breeze to pass.

After checking in, we headed to our guest room. Along the way, we could see some thoughtfully arranged, stylish benches and other decorative pieces placed by the hotel.

From the room's balcony, the hotel's infinity pool came into view, although no guests were swimming due to the cool night air.

After a short rest in the room, we walked through the hotel's small garden and reached the beach. Looking out, the Shanwei city lights twinkled at the end of the sandy expanse.
