Dinner at Huixiang Xilou: A Culinary Welcome to Kunming
After a long and winding day's drive, traversing the picturesque landscapes from Guiyang, Guizhou, we finally reached our much-anticipated destination: Kunming, Yunnan. The city lights twinkled a welcoming greeting, a promise of new culinary adventures. To satiate our hunger and immerse ourselves in the local culture, we sought out Huixiang Xilou, a highly regarded local restaurant known for its authentic flavors and charming ambiance. Its location, right by the serene Cuihu Lake, added to its allure, offering a tranquil backdrop to our evening meal.
Armed with my trusty Sony A6700 and the versatile Sigma 56mm F1.4 lens, I was eager to capture the essence of our dinner. The moment we stepped inside, the warm, inviting lighting enveloped us, casting a golden glow that beautifully highlighted every detail—from the meticulously arranged tableware to the artfully prepared dishes.
