Exploring Cantonese Culinary Delights: Salted Goose and White Cut Chicken at Xiang Wei Restaurant

Today, we revisited Xiang Wei restaurant, a place we frequent for its authentic Cantonese cuisine. We were particularly excited to order their renowned specialties: salted goose and white cut chicken. These dishes are staples in traditional Cantonese cuisine, especially among the Hakka community, a significant ethnic group in Guangdong province.

The Hakka people have their own distinct culinary traditions, which have contributed to the rich tapestry of Cantonese food culture. Salted goose, with its savory and succulent meat, and white cut chicken, prized for its tender texture and delicate flavor, are prime examples of Hakka culinary expertise.

To capture the essence of these dishes, I used my trusty Sony A6700 camera paired with a Sigma lens. The resulting images showcase the vibrant colors and mouthwatering presentation of the salted goose and white cut chicken, inviting viewers to experience the culinary delights of Xiang Wei restaurant and the Hakka tradition.
