Seoul Adventure: Exploring Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung Palace

The second day of our Seoul adventure found us exploring the iconic Gwanghwamun Square and the majestic Gyeongbokgung Palace. These landmarks are undeniably essential stops for any first-time visitor to South Korea, and we were not disappointed.

A light dusting of snow from the previous day's flurry still clung to the palace grounds, creating a picturesque scene. The palace's grandeur was only enhanced by the sight of tourists donning traditional Korean costumes - their vibrant hues seemed to complement the architecture perfectly. The atmosphere in Gwanghwamun Square was markedly different, with multiple protests taking place. This was a stark contrast to my experiences in China, where such public demonstrations are rare. I felt fortunate to be able to document these unique moments with my trusty Sony A6700 and Sigma lens, capturing the energy and emotion of the scene.
