A Journey Through Time: Exploring the Dapeng Fortress During the Chinese New Year

The second day of the Chinese New Year found us journeying to the historic Dapeng Fortress in Shenzhen, eager to soak in the festive atmosphere of this ancient stronghold. As expected, the fortress was already adorned with vibrant decorations, a visual feast welcoming the influx of tourists from all corners of the country who had come to celebrate the New Year festival.

The roads leading to the fortress were teeming with traffic, a testament to the popularity of this holiday destination. The fortress itself was bustling with activity, as throngs of people reveled in the joyous occasion, taking advantage of their longest leave of the year to relax and enjoy quality time with loved ones. The air was thick with excitement and anticipation, as families and friends strolled through the ancient walls, exploring the historical exhibits and marveling at the intricate architecture.

Amidst the lively crowds and vibrant festivities, I found myself captivated by the beauty of the fortress and the energy of the people. With my trusty Sony A6700 and Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 zoom lens in hand, I set out to capture the essence of this unforgettable experience.
