Shanghai through GR II: A Michelin-Starred Morning

Introduction

My first Shanghai trip concluded with a Michelin-starred breakfast. My Ricoh GR II captured the vibrant urban scenes en route: bustling streets, diverse architecture, prominent advertising, and the city's vast metropolitan scale. Small details like pedestrians and traditional shop signs contrasted with grand buildings. Breakfast was a feast of local food, including fried dishes, momo, and dumplings. Post-meal, we encountered a mix of Chinese and Japanese architecture, alongside the striking blue sky and green foliage. Various modes of transport, from cars to unique composite stairs, highlighted the city's dynamic energy, culminating in a final image epitomizing Shanghai's lively urban pulse.
