A Journey Through Time: Capturing High School Memories on Film

Twenty years ago, I was a high school student capturing the world around me on film. The tangible nature of film photography added an element of anticipation and excitement to each shot; there was no instant gratification of reviewing the image, only the hope that the developed photos would reflect the memories I was trying to preserve. I can't recall the specific camera or lens I used back then, or the technical settings that informed each photograph. It was a time of carefree experimentation, where the focus was on capturing the moment rather than the technicalities of the process. These images represent more than just visual records; they are portals to a past filled with youthful energy, friendships, and the simple joys of high school life.
