Pergear 25mm F1.7: Affordable Optics with Mixed Results

Recently, I purchased the Pergear 25mm F1.7 manual lens and captured some shots in JPEG format. While reviewing the images, I noticed some distortions, particularly around the edges. However, the chromatic aberration was well-controlled, which is a significant improvement compared to other budget lenses I've used. The bokeh was aesthetically pleasing, and the center of the images exhibited remarkable sharpness. The only minor inconvenience I encountered was the proximity of the focus ring to the camera, resulting from the compact size of the lens. This positioning required me to extend my fingers to adjust the focus.
